Therapy is a safe space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and challenges with professional support.
Rosien tailors sessions to your needs, using approaches like:
You can access rebates for therapy sessions through Medicare with a Mental Health Care Plan or via private health insurance, depending on your provider and coverage.
You can book assessments for:
Fees vary depending on the type of assessment, but often include 4 sessions plus 2 hour report writing, at 240 per hour.
Assessments are usually not covered by Medicare or private health insurance.
Assessments for children and teenagers differ from those for adults because we need to consider developmental stages, school environment, and family dynamics.
For children up to 12 years old, the first session will be parents only to discuss concerns and history. Teenagers (12+) can attend the intake session alone if they prefer, but parental involvement can be arranged as needed.
Children in Australia can also access rebates for therapy sessions. Medicare rebates are available with a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from a GP, paediatrician, or psychiatrist. Private health insurance may also cover therapy sessions, depending on the provider and level of cover.
