Diagnoses such as ASD, ADHD, and personality disorders are lifelong diagnoses. Each assessment needs to be carefully considered. These reports usually take 2-3 hours to complete.

Please note an assessment never guarantees any diagnosis.

Many people display symptoms of certain diagnoses, without qualifying for a diagnosis. E.g. some people show ASD traits but don't have ASD. These assessments can help distinguish between several diagnoses as well as possible causes of certain symptoms. For instance, someone who can't concentrate could have ADHD, or could be suffering from PTSD, chronic stress, or something completely different. Each reason will require a different treatment. Which is why assessments are an important starting point.

The following assessments take less time to complete, and will include a shorter report.

Trauma

Life sucks! It's beautiful. But sometimes, it sucks. Traumatic events will happen at some point in life. And when it is too big to handle, this can ruin your life if left untreated. What we know from trauma:

  • It engrains beliefs about yourself
  • It causes uncontrollable emotions
  • It needs the right treatment

Please allow yourself to get better. Send me a message if you have any doubts.

Self-esteem

Your core self-worth, how you see yourself, influences all other aspects of your mental health.

We often work so hard on proving ourselves, that we fail to feel proud for any accomplishments, because we're too focussed on whatever else is missing. The one thing that is not good enough... And then the next, and the next.

Building core self-esteem will help you go through life easier and happier.

Grief

Loss happens in many ways. No matter how we lose someone important, it will shake our world.

Grief and loss counselling focusses on accepting emotions that often get stuck, when we try to supress them...
because people often tell us that ''life goes on''

But sometimes life needs to stand still for a moment, so we can take the time and space to process what happened.

Anxiety

Stronger than corona, anxiety spreads through the world like a fire.

It's the new pandemic and it needs your attention. Fears are screaming for a reason.

Anxiety will keep you up at night, unfocussed on the things you want to focus on, it will stop you from living.

The good thing: it's actually pretty easily fixable. CBT is very effective, even in a few sessions.

Depression

''Depression is a transition period'', is what a professor once told me.

It is a loss of identity. And when it is used successfully, it will result in a new and better identity. It is the dark tunnel in between of locations.

Which brings us to another quote:

'When you're in a dark tunnel, it is not the moment to get off the train''

Eating Disorders

  • Anorexia
  • Boulimia
  • Binge Eating
  • Orthorexia

They all have a few things in common:
Body image, self-worth, control, and often unprocessed trauma.

They also all respond well to the right treatment.
