Once-a-week therapy is often not enough.

Therapy is great. But there is more to mental health than mental health... Our psyche is part of a body, and according to most, part of a spirit, a wider connection.

Many years ago, I read a story about an antropologist who went to live in an African tribe. They laughed when they heard what we do to depressed people...

"You put them in a small room, inside, with one other person, to talk?"

How they handle it:

  • get them outside
  • in the sun
  • in fresh air
  • in nature
  • with a group of people
  • connecting through dance and arts
  • playing fun games
  • buidling things together, collaborating
  • singing
  • hugging
  • good eating
  • and after all that, an early night for a good sleep.

That is what our retreats are. There is therapy, but there is so much more.

Usually it is small groups of kind people who all come alone, and become good friends, supporting each other through their healing, hugging, having fun.

It's the connection that drives the Real Heal.

Sweet Retreat

Sweet Retreat is our most popular retreat.

it does not require any specific symptoms. It's designed to simply make you feel more relaxed, happier, and more confident.

It is for everyone who needs a break, wants a healthy weekend away, in nature, and make new friends.

Nothing is obligated, all activities are optional. You can opt in or out at any time.

Trauma Retreat

Opening up trauma needs to be handled with delicacy and care.

So many clients come to me with stories of therapists who made them talk about trauma for 45 min, followed by: "Time's up! Bye bye."

That is unsafe. You can't just open up the wound and then send a patient into the world again.

Having a full weekend of support after opening that wound, allows part of the wound to have the time and space to actually heal, and then close back up what's left, safely.

There's a team of patients and psychologists who all have been through trauma, who have your back.

Real Heal

Real Heal is the retreat for people with depression, anxiety, or other mental healt challenges.

There is therapy on top of the standard holistic retreat package.

Of course, results vary, we cannot promise any specific outcome. Not everyone will fully heal after one weekend. It is not a magic solution, but it accelerates what you would achieve in weekly therapy.

What we do during the retreat is based on scientific research on happiness, what makes us happy, as well as depression and anxiety treatments, as well as clinical experience of our psychologists.
